Welcome to the Boston City Youth Corps Youth (BCYC) Employment Program

Mayor Michelle Wu & the City of Boston Office of Youth Employment & Opportunity are excited to announce the launch of the 26-27 School Year Boston City Youth Corps (BCYC) Pilot Youth Employment Program! BCYC provides career connected job opportunities to youth workers, by transforming traditional youth employment into even more of a dual-purpose civic engine: providing Boston’s youth with meaningful, career-connected opportunities while directly supporting and filling gaps in essential municipal services across our neighborhoods.

Youth who are interested in applying to work with BCYC must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a full-time resident of the City of Boston
  • Youth must be between the ages of 14-18 years old
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
