For the summer of 2018, Youth Engagement & Employment (YEE) will be using a lottery selection process. The first round of the random selection will begin April 2, 2018. Each applicant will be assigned a number to which marks their position in the lottery after the SuccessLink application closes.
The 2018 SuccessLink Summer Youth Employment Program is designed to support teens with a meaningful employment opportunity, as well as provide the necessary tools to learn valuable skills for future employment. During the summer program, thousands of youth are employed at over 200 community-based organizations including, but not limited to, advocacy groups, educational organizations, faith-based organizations, and government agencies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
There will be various opportunities for young people that are selected to work in our program! Summer opportunities include paid positions with the Boston Police Department, Zoo New England, radio stations, Boston municipal government departments as well as and and as tutors, mentors and counselors at many summer day programs!
Partners in our program are looking for young people that are excited and willing to work! Whether it’s your first job opportunity or you have worked in our program before, our partners are ready to help you grow and learn this coming summer!
