YES offers diverse array of programs. As a non-profit, community-based organization, YES offers young people year-round activities — both indoors and outdoors — to give youth new active outdoor experiences and build their self-confidence and leadership skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan ambassador meeting activities and year-long goals • Recruit teens to join the YES Ambassadors group • Facilitate bi-weekly YES Ambassador meetings • Attend YES events and take photos and conduct interviews Interns will be placed, according to their interests, in the YES departments of Finance, Marketing & Outreach, Rental shop, and Impact to work alongside department staff while learning about the broader career fields that intersect with their department. Interns will also participate in weekly workforce development workshops. Responsibilities may include (depending on department placement): • Train and work in the YES online database • Prepare documents for events and outreach • Assist with inventory and maintenance of rental shop equipment • Input youth survey data into online database • Prepare trip documents for ski and snowboard trips
