**This position will be: Complete In-Person**
Faith Christian Church offers many community programs today, including a food pantry twice a month, daily breakfast/lunches to students, and meeting some of the needs of seniors who've become connected to our organization. We also offer two services to the public on Sundays, as well as many other ministries and small groups. Last, we aim to inspire youth for greatness and success and will likely start a tutoring program, or something along those lines, again this summer, especially given the more challenging learning situations COVID-19 has caused.
1) Aiding us in running the grab-n-go breakfast/lunches for student/parent pickups. -> This includes packing bags with food, proper storage of food, following safe COVID guidelines, paperwork, and distributing food safely. 2) We offer a Friday hang out for middle and high school hangouts students. We have a separate budget for games, movies, art supplies, food, etc. -> There is no proselytizing at these events. We simply try to create a safe place for teens to hang out and promote healthy life choices and anti-violence, but mostly a place to have fun. -> Your role would be to help plan the events, take leadership responsibilities during the event, help set up and take down, and help advertise each event. 3) Helping with Sunday services screening/check-ins -> We would not ask you to do anything of a spiritual nature, anyone could do these tasks. These include checking off names, temperature check, asking if they have any COVID related symptoms, and making sure they sanitize their hands. You would also help wipe and disinfect areas like stair handles and door handles that get higher use on Sundays. 4) Helping run Audio/Visual productions, live streaming, and film crew during Sunday services -> This is a great way to get experience in theater and venue production. You would learn different production programs: how to connect multiple cameras to a switcher board and toggle between them; how to run slide shows and other visuals to main projectors; how to go from multiple cameras to live streaming. 5) Administrative Assistant -> With any non-profit, including churches, there is a great deal of administrative work. This includes weekly updates via email and social medias to stay connected to our audience. Filling, organizing, and storing data of contacts. There will also be some maintenance responsibilities such as helping reorganize storage and offices.
1) Hard Worker 2) Teachable 3) Honest 4) Respectible
