Youth Guidance offers school-based group counseling programs for young people in grades 7-12. The Scholar Training Academy (STA) builds workforce development and career readiness skills. STA scholars take part in tailored leadership, personal, and academic enrichment sessions facilitated by YG staff and community partners. By the end of the program, STA scholars will gain the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to improve their readiness for postsecondary opportunities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Daily attendance of STA personal/professional development sessions. 2. Complete daily and weekly individual and group assignments as assigned by the supervisor 3. Provide social and academic support to peers/group members
