Youth Researcher - Community Voices: Speaking Truth Participate in the design, administration, and evaluation of a public health oriented, community-based participatory research project. Analyze and evaluate qualitative and quantitative data gathered during research. Attend and complete professional development, college preparatory, health and wellness themed workshops. Responsibilities: Assist with completion of final report. Collect and analyze data. Recruit and interview participants for data collection. Maintain accurate records of interviews, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects.Summarize interviews. Manage and respond to project related email. Actively participate in project/team meetings. Participate in professional development and college preparatory themed workshops and other meetings as necessary. Prepare other reports and presentations. Travel to field sites to collect and record data specific to the theme of the study. Prepare findings for presentation and assist with data management. Write and contribute to publications. Track progress over time. Engage community partners in research. Compile data for progress reports
1. Actively participate in research planning and implementation meetings. 2. Analyze both qualitative and quantitative data under the supervision of program staff. 3. Present research findings to community stakeholders and public city officials.
