Overview:

Assessing has participated in the Intern program both the Fall and Summer for at least the last 10 years. We normally have 1-3 interns participate with us during the year either fall or summer. It takes a lot to train the interns and to learn everything that Assessing does and have them complete the work that is needed to be done in the department. So a lot goes in to mentoring these interns. We would like to discuss being able to carry over our staff from fall to summer or vice versa.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Assessing’s objective in bringing today’s youth in to work with us is to share a field not usually known to the youth that has many different facets of learning.

The Ideal Candidate for this Job:

Excellent organizational, communication and technology skills
Some knowledge of real estate, human resources and or administration but not required
Position requires extreme confidentiality in handling and distributing records
Good Computer skills and attention to detail is essential, required
Interpersonal and teamwork skills preferred
Analytic skills, including ability to innovate, to make recommendations, to handle multiple assignments, and to meet deadlines, preferred.
Ability to exercise good judgement and focus on detail
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and the public in person, by telephone and in writing preferred
