Overview:

The Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture is proud to offer diverse and robust initiatives to serve and reinforce the importance of culture at large within our City. Key programs we maintain are seminal grant opportunities such as the Cultural Space Fund, Cultural Investment Grant, and more, the Boston Artist In Residence program for artists interested in working within City government, the Transformative Public Art Program, which commissions and advises on public art projects, the Poet Laureate Award, and the City Plaza as a site of cultural convening.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

We hope that youth will use this as a building block of employment in the creative sector.

The Ideal Candidate for this Job:

Curiosity surrounding the care of collections, image management, digital preservation, and rights and reproduction standards
Interest in art, culture, and public memory
Ability to be attentive to detail and accurate
Creative thinking surrounding systems organization
