Overview:

At BCYF Curtis Hall CC, we've been enhancing the lives of those residing in Jamaica Plain and surrounding City of Boston area residents for almost 40 years. We at BCYF Curtis Hall CC serve all populations regardless of age, sex, race, religion, economic background, sexual orientation, political affiliation, etc. The participants of BCYF Curtis Hall CC are provided free and/or affordable accessible programs and activities such as in-house basketball leagues, soccer, pickleball, swim team, drop-in teen center, homework assistance, Tech-Goes-Home, meals/snacks, computer programs, xbox/ps4-5 competitions, Zumba, arts & crafts, holiday card design for the veterans & seniors, fieldtrips, employment, etc. year-round & seasonally.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

As a SuccessLink Employment Partner, BCYF Curtis Hall CC will align with the YEO/DEIB's strategic vision by providing youth with an employment experience in a safe environment. The SuccessLink Teen Staff will use their existing skills and learn work-related additional skills necessary to run various programs, activities, etc. They will gain experiences which will boost their knowledge, improve their self-esteem and add to their toolkit they will use in the future to fully function in the working world allowing them to become contributing members of society.

The Ideal Candidate for this Job:

Strong ability to organize and prioritize work as needed.
Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job.Learn to follow directions so they will be able to help plan and assist activities in the gym, such as skills & drills, with BNBL and/or Peewee, score keep, and other sports and games.
The desire to learn, willingness to work hard and do your best.
