Overview:

BCYF's network of community centers offer a wide range of diverse features and programs that are as unique as the neighborhoods they serve. BCYF Blackstone features gymnasium, teen center, computer lab, auditorium, and a variety of multi-purpose spaces. We offer programming all year round and we are here to serve all residents of the South End/Lower Roxbury communities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

We are seeking to employ youth at our site to assist us with daily programmatic aspects and assistance in keys areas of the community center. We would like youth to assist with the developemt of youth based programming within the community and assist with gaining information from members of the community center on programming for the site. Our youth employees also assist in areas like the front desk in welcoming members and guest to the center and checking in members into our database system. They will also assist in in the gym with the BCYF staff. Lastly they will plan and assist programming with our teen center with BCYF staff.

The Ideal Candidate for this Job:

Work with staff on developing programming for youth for the community center.
