Our office has held youth council events on learning financial literacy, takes pride in community and constituent services, creating spaces for growth in the community. Increased engagement between the District 4 City Councilor and young people in District 4. Increased public engagement skills and experience for District 4 youth. Policies and initiatives led by our office in partnership with the Council that are forward- looking and create a brighter future for our young people. The perspectives and priorities of young people are highly valued by those with decision-making power. Youth raised in District 4 feel safe in their communities, can afford to stay in their communities, and want to invest in their communities.Youth have access to the resources, training, and support they need to be effective advocates and leaders.
Interns will learn about local government by engaging and serving constituents and planning community engagement events. Answer and log phone calls. Coordinate with city departments for services. Help plan major event for youth. Work with senior staff on projects
