BCYF Johnson Community Center (BCYF Johnson CC) is housed in the Mission Hill neighborhood. It is a neighborhood
rich in people diversity, culture and institutions which set it a part from more traditional neighborhoods. Residents
coexist
with the largest hospital that offers a wide range of activities
and programs including; a licensed summer camp for ninety children ages 6-12, an After School Program for sixty
children ages 6-12, a Computer Center with fourteen work stations and computer classes for all ages, a city-wide
Together Program for youth ages 13-19, and a Drop-In Program for youth ages 6-17. BCYF Johnson CC also
has a very busy Athletic Department that provides numerous athletic leagues, tournaments, and recreational
activities. In addition, BCYF Johnson CC also supports many of its' local schools by providing space for physical
education and sports events. BCYF Johnson CC is governed by a fifteen-member neighborhood Council. The Council
meets monthl BCYF Johnson CC programs Over 65% of the
members are residents of the Mission Hill community and therefore, represents the diversity of the neighborhood.
