SuccessLink will assign youth leaders and participants to the District 7 Office (Councilor Tania Fernandes-Anderson’s Office). Youth leaders will work remotely on Mondays and Thursdays, doing homework via Zoom with the assistance of a Youth Leader who is ready to help. They will also meet virtually and occasionally at City Hall for constituent projects.
Youth will participate in District 7 office civic events such as town halls, in-person listening sessions, and other civic engagement activities/events as they arise. Additionally, youth will engage in civic workshops. The goal is to provide quality service to the constituents of District 7 while teaching office etiquette to young people, preparing them for the workforce and encouraging them to pursue opportunities in City Hall using their internship experience.
Angie, the Youth Ambassador/Lead Supervisor, is on call during the listed times and available to the youth and leaders for any questions.
