Overview:

BCYF Shelburne Community Center continues to provide a safe, welcoming, fun, and cohesive environment for all our youth, teens, families, seniors, and the community as a whole. We offer year-round programs, such as fitness and wellness, teen educational workshops, recreational and sports programs, senior citizen programs, community events, and youth afterschool and summer programs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Help children ages 7–12 learn to ride bikes safely while keeping activities fun and engaging.
- Assist with setting up and running biking programs at assigned parks or BCYF sites.
- Teach safe biking skills, encourage positive behavior, and support kids’ confidence.
- Enjoy working with children and collaborate well with other team members.
- Demonstrate good time management skills and reliability throughout the program.
- Participate in training and receive ongoing feedback to build leadership skills.

The Ideal Candidate for this Job:

The Junior Counselor must: - Enjoys working with children. - Have some experience working with children ages 7 to 12. - Possesses good time management skills, and works well with others.
